·Date: Nov 18, Sat, 1-6 pm (drop by anytime)
·Venue: Thomas Dunn Learning Center
·Description: Are you a Black queer St. Louisan who feels energized about connecting with your community through healing and storytelling? Join this community-powered event that holds space for the grief, the joy, and the intricacies of being Black and queer in St. Louis. We’ll gently and fiercely hold space for each other through a storytelling workshop, interviews with peer counselors, breakout conversations on religion/spirituality & kink, and more – culminating in an open mic and performance space. We’ll provide healing for the mind, body, and spirit through acupuncture & acupressure, tarot reading & evolutionary astrology, a grief & healing circle, sound healing, pleasure mapping, and a photo shoot. This event will provide food, drinks, music, a decompression and self-care space, and childcare. All activities are opt-in – come choose your own path to healing and community.
Free, confidential, identity-affirming peer counseling.
By and for the St. Louis LGBTQIA+ community.
