Netflix’s “Blown Away” MiNHi England and John Sharvin will make a special appearance at Third Degree Glass on Friday, December 15th, at 6:00 PM during our free Third Friday open house celebration. MiNHi England and John Sharvin will start with an artist talk and then launch into a live glassblowing demo for all to see. Enjoy a cash bar, live music, food vendors, and a hands-on glass art experience for people to sign up for. Plus two raffles for exquisite glass art, including the piece that John and MiNHi create that night. Join us for an exciting conclusion to the 2023 Third Friday season! Agenda: 6:00p: Doors and Bar open. 6:00p: Flameworking Demo begins - The demo will conclude with a raffle drawing and a guest will go home with amazing glass art created at last month’s open house. 6:00p: Live Music by Devon Cahill 6:30p: Glass Experience begins 7:00p: John Sharvin and MiNHi England Glassblowing Demo & Talk begins. Join us as John and MiNHi give an artist talk and then watch as they create a beautiful glass piece before our eyes. 9:30p: John & MiNHi demo concludes. We will raffle off the piece they created. (You will need to come back to get it since it will need to go through the annealing process) 9:30p: Circus Kaput will perform fantastic fiery feats on the patio. Guests will also enjoy food from our friends at UrbanEats (https://urbaneatsstl.com/) and the opportunity to create their own glass art with our glass experience (https://thirddegreeglassfactory.com/third-friday/). Admission to Third Friday is always free and open to all ages. No reservation is required!
