Description
The holiday season in the Delmar Loop doesn’t end in December - it continues into January with the 17th Annual Ice Carnival on January 20th! Building on the success of last year's event, which attracted over 12,000 attendees, the 2024 Ice Carnival is set to be the biggest yet! The Delmar Loop has even more in store for this year’s Ice Carnival. Louie and Fredbird will be there to join the winter fun, and this day-long event will feature the following: - 60+ ice sculptures - Live ice sculpting demonstrations - Live music - STL Barkeep winter cocktail creations - Inflatable activities - Stilt walkers - Snowflake ballerinas - Fire performers This year, the Delmar Loop is excited to add its first ever Ice Carnival Drone Show! The show features 150+ drones lighting up the night sky. Beginning at 7PM, viewers can experience the show from the ground, visible from over a 1/4 mile away! A VIP Viewing Area on the rooftop of the Moonrise Hotel offers an exclusive experience for $75 for adults and $45 for kids twelve and under. Tickets include heavy hors d'oeuvres, two drinks from the bar. Blankets will also be available.This is the only location where viewers can hear the synced music for the show. Hayrides will transport festival-goers from one end of the festivities to the other, and local businesses along Delmar Blvd will host a variety of games and events from 11AM-7PM. Don’t miss each business's custom ice sculpture, the $1500 Ice Cube Give Away, and the Tattoo Scavenger Hunt!More Information
