Description
The American Lung Association in Missouri are hosting the Smokefree Housing Meet & Greet on May 31st from 11am-1pm at Verde on Cherokee (2118 Cherokee St, St. Louis, MO 63118). This event is focused on the importance of smokefree housing, and is an opportunity for residents, community members, and property owners to learn more about why going smokefree matters. The event is free, and we will have food and promotional giveaway items, including a drawing for gift cards. Here is the link to RSVP: https://bit.ly/3UdAdqk. Exposure to secondhand and thirdhand smoke can have serious health consequences, particularly for vulnerable populations including children and individuals with respiratory or cardiovascular conditions. That is why we believe it's so important to create more smokefree housing options in our community. By doing so, we hope to improve the health and well-being of our community members, as well as reduce the risk of property damage and fire associated with smokingMore Information
