Description
The Community Development Administration (CDA) has been designated to receive $25,834,000 under the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) allocation made available through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to the City under the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2023 (Public Law 117-180).
The City of St. Louis - CDA's CDBG-DR Action Plan seeks to deploy HUD funds to address both immediate and long-term recovery needs from severe storms and stormwater issues, prioritizing housing recovery while also mitigating future disasters. Through extensive assessments and public engagement, CDA aims to allocate resources effectively, ensuring equity, protecting vulnerable populations, and advancing community resilience.
Public Hearings Notice/Public Comment Period
CDA will conduct a hybrid virtual public hearing on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 6 PM.
The purpose of this hearing is to solicit public comments on the CDBG-DR Action Plan before its submission to HUD.

The CDBG-DR Action Plan will be available TBD in draft form for review by any interested citizen before submission to HUD at https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/community-development/documents/cdbg-disaster-recovery-action-plan.cfm
Public Comment
The views of citizens, public agencies, and other interested parties are encouraged. A public comment period will begin when the draft CDBG-DR Action Plan is posted TBD.
