More About the Event
This webinar, presented by Larry Robbin, Executive Director of Robbin and Associates, is for the staff and management of programs serving all populations of job seekers. The strategies in the webinar will also be useful for all types of workforce programs.
A very important and little-recognized barrier to employment is the referral gap. The referral gap happens when you see the need for someone to access supportive services, but you can't get them to go. People need to access these services to make employment progress.
This webinar will show you the hidden reasons that block people from going to referral resources. Find out from interviews with hundreds of people in workforce programs why they didn't go to referral resources. Get new and powerful strategies to motivate the people you serve to go to the referral resources and close the referral gap.
Referral is not an information-giving process. Referral is a counseling strategy! Learn how to do referral counseling, close the referral gap, and help people make progress toward employment. When you learn how to do referral counseling, people will make more employment progress in less time than ever! Close the referral gap now!
