Florence Rappaport's six young children were complaining that it was too snowy and cold to do anything. Suddenly, she had the perfect idea, "Let's have ice cream for breakfast!" The Rappaports continued the tradition each year as the kids grew up. National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is now celebrated by millions across the country on the first Saturday in February.
