Description

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm WARNING for the City of St. Louis until 3:00 PM. 

At 2:11 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located six miles north of St. Peters to over Gray Summit, or along a line from six miles north of St. Peters to over Pacific, moving southeast at 40 mph.

The storm has the potential of producing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions 

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms have produced damaging winds and are capable of producing large hail.
