Description

Celebrate Juneteenth on the Edward and Imo Family Plaza with an evening performances highlighting the beauty of Black American culture, hosted by DJ Quinn of 96.3 R&B. Enjoy spoken-word performances by Tracy “T-Spirit” Stanton; the award-winning, soul-stirring Shalom Church (City of Peace) Mass Choir led by Dello Thedford; and an exciting step performance by Gentleman of Vision. The evening starts with a lively happy hour filled with traditional African American games including spades, dominoes, and Uno.  For those looking for some good food and drinks, check out the Black-owned food trucks available!

Join us in the Grand Hall before our main-stage event to enjoy food and drinks available for purchase from local Black-owned food and beverage trucks. Visit resource tables hosted by Black-led community organizations and vendors. Check out our Historian’s Corner to learn more about St. Louis’s Black history. Enjoy card games, dominoes, activities, and more!
