Step Into the Story: Juneteenth | 10:30am–11:15am | Lee Auditorium
Happy Juneteenth! To commemorate the holiday, we’ll learn about the history and future of Juneteenth. American Sign Language interpretation will be provided by DEAF Inc.

Mama Lisa’s Movement Workshop: Forever Free | 11:30am–12:00pm, 12:15–12:45pm | AT&T Multipurpose Room
Storyteller and dance instructor Mama Lisa is back to lead kids ages 5+ in a Juneteenth story-dance celebration with movement and chanting.

Exhibit Tour: Mill Creek Black Metropolis | 10:30–10:50am, 11:00–11:20am, 12:00–12:20pm | Mill Creek: Black Metropolis Gallery

Learn about the vital Black community of Mill Creek on this interactive, family-friendly guided tour through the popular Mill Creek: Black Metropolis exhibit. (Maximum 20 people per tour).

Poetry with Pacia Elaine Anderson | 11:30am–1:00pm | Karen Goering Classroom

Come learn about important Black history, share your own stories, and learn how to use the literary and visual arts as a tool for positive self-expression in this interactive, kid-friendly workshop from St. Louis Poet Pacia Elaine Anderson!

Parkway District Step Team Performance | 12:00–12:15pm | Lee Auditorium
Watch the award-winning Parkway District Step Team as they bring energy, precision, and unity to the stage, blending rhythm and movement to tell powerful stories through step. With discipline and pride, they showcase teamwork, culture, and creativity in every performance!

Scavenger Hunt: Black History in St. Louis | 10am–1pm | All galleries
Black history is St. Louis history! Work together to find people and moments from St. Louis’s Black history throughout the galleries on this family-friendly scavenger hunt.
