Description

One of our most popular Third Friday events - our studio artists will have all the glass gourds & pumpkins your little heart desires out & ready to shop. Plus, the 8:15 pm demo is always an amazing show as we make our GIANT glass pumpkin. ?Glassblowing Demos 6:15 pm: We're making hot air balloons out of glass in honor of the Great Forest Park Balloon Race. 8:15 pm: Watch in awe as our artists handle 15+ pounds of hot, molten glass to make a giant glass pumpkin. ?Flame Demo at 7:15 pm: Get up close and personal with a flame artist on the torch in the glass gallery. ?Live Music by Flip Side & Friends ?Studio Experiences: Every studio has an experience to make a pumpkin out of glass. Sign up for one or a couple! ?Exhibition: Catch our new exhibition, The Wearer Worn, by NC Qin of Australia, on display through Oct. 31 NOTE: Sept. 18 is also the Balloon Glow for the Great Forest Park Balloon Race, and we don’t want you to get stuck in traffic. (All the more reason to come to Third Degree. ??) Pick a route that keeps you comfortably away from the perimeter of Forest Park. Our recommendations: From the South/West of Delmar: Take Big Bend to Forest Park Parkway. Exit at DeBaliviere, head north to Delmar. From the East: Take any route to Delmar that avoids Kingshighway Blvd. From the North: No rerouting necessary! On the Third Friday of every month from 5 to 10 pm, come to Third Degree for glass blowing demonstrations, private experiences, raffles, exhibits, food & drinks, and live music. We create HEAT in the Delmar Maker District, and we want you there!
