Description
THE ARCHITECTURE OF MEMORY Selected Works by Nabil Mousa Opening Reception: Friday, September 25, 2026, 5:00–8:00 p.m. Sanctuary 4580 4580 Gibson Avenue St. Louis, Missouri 63110 The Architecture of Memory brings together decades of paintings and mixed-media works by internationally exhibited artist Nabil Mousa. Presented within a dramatically transformed historic church, the exhibition explores identity, displacement, culture, power, spirituality, resilience, and the histories we carry within us. Through paint, fabric, paper, pattern, texture, raw edges, and layered materials, Mousa examines how personal and collective experiences shape who we become. Within the architecture of Sanctuary 4580, the artwork and the building enter into a powerful conversation about memory, struggle, transformation, and renewal. The exhibition will remain on view through November 30, 2026. Following the opening reception, visits are available by appointment through Gallery 874 at info@Gallery874.com or 314-380-0119. Parking and Entrance: Free street parking is available along Gibson Avenue and the surrounding streets. Please enter through the side entrance located directly on the Gibson Avenue side of Sanctuary 4580.More Information
