Green City Coalition, Throwing and Growing Foundation, & Sundy Whiteside Memorial Garden Celebration and Commemoration

Overview

Description

Join the Green City Coalition, Throwing and Growing Foundation, & Sundy Whiteside Memorial Garden as we celebrate a year of big accomplishments at this GCC community site!

After many years of planning and hard work, you'll now be able to plant flowers in a garden that is a memorial to Sundy Whiteside, watch a shot put and discus competition put on by Throwing and Growing, check out our new MSD Project Clear Stormwater Capture Project, and celebrate with food, music, activities, and an unveiling of two new signs that mark the site.

Please join us, and bring a friend! Here's what you need to know:

When: Saturday, October 24: 10:00 to 2:00
