Description

Join Great Rivers Greenway to discuss plans to convert The Trestle, a 1.5-mile abandoned elevated alignment in North St. Louis City, into a vibrant park and recreation district. An open house will be held on June 18 from 4:30-7:30 pm in the Crown District of Old North St. Louis at 2617 North 14th Street. The open house will showcase early renderings of the project, and residents will be able to provide their input on project design and amenities. Redevelopment of The Trestle, which spans over I-70 just two blocks north of where the new Mississippi River Bridge now crosses, will place St. Louis on a short list with New York City and Paris as one of the only cities in the world with such an attraction. The Trestle will also be unique as the only elevated rail park in the world that ties into a comprehensive network of trails and greenways. Come learn more and be a part of the planning process!
