Amending Ordinance Number 62885 known as the Capital Improvements Sales Tax

Summary

The proposed bill amends and revises Ordinance Number 62885, which imposes a one-half of one-percent sales tax, known as the Capital Improvements Sales Tax, on all retail sales made in the City of St. Louis which are subject to taxation under the provisions of Sections 144.010 to 144.525 R.S.Mo., and provides for the allocation of such funds for the purpose of funding capital improvements, including allocations for ward capital improvements, so that allocations for ward capital improvements for each ward shall be made equally.
