City Charter Change Related to the City Counselor
Summary
An ordinance submitting to the qualified voters of the City of St. Louis a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of St. Louis amending Article VIII, Section 1 to provide for the City Counselor to be nominated by the Mayor and approved by the Board of Aldermen by a majority vote and providing for a process of removal of the City Counselor either by Mayoral action or by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Aldermen; and providing for an election to be held for voting on the proposed amendment and for the manner of voting; and for publication, certification, deposit, and recording of this ordinance; and containing an emergency clause.
