Summary

BOARD BILL NO. 126 INTRODUCED BY ALDERWOMAN DIONNE FLOWERS An ordinance repealing Section Two and Section Three of Ordinance 66097 pertaining to the issuance of any package or drink liquor licenses for premises within the boundaries of the Second Ward Liquor Control District and in lieu thereof enacting a two new sections prohibiting the issuance of any package or drink license within the Second Ward Liquor Control District for a period of three years from the effective date of Ordinance 66097; containing an exception allowing, during the moratorium period, for the transfer and renewal of existing licenses, under certain circumstances, and the issuance of a drink license to persons operating a restaurant at a previously non-licensed premises; and containing an emergency clause.
