Summary

BOARD BILL NO. 193 INTRODUCED BY ALDERWOMAN CHRISTINE INGRASSIA An ordinance establishing the Traffic Communication Network Improvement Fund ("Fund"); establishing procedures, and priorities for expenditures of monies from the Fund; requiring the Director of Streets to prepare a list of unimproved Traffic Communication Network deficiencies which will include improvements needed to the communication lines (the fiber optic cable system), conduits, terminals, network servers and system software; publishing an Annual Master Plan ("Plan") detailing the implementation steps to be taken in the next fiscal year for such improvements; establishing procedures for selecting and designating improvement projects; providing for the submission of said Plan to the Board of Public Service for recommendation; and appropriation of said monies from the Fund.
