Requesting Process for the Removal and Appointment of Sheriffs

Summary

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis, that this body agrees that such a system for the appointment and removal of the Sheriff of the City of St. Louis would ensure that the City's sheriff is capable of carrying out their duties of in a professional manner in accordance with the laws of this State and provide needed oversight and accountability in the office of Sheriff.
