Opposing Missouri Bill 2761

Summary

NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED, by this Honorable Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we urge the Missouri General Assembly to reject statutory reclassifications that circumvent local authority and to instead work collaboratively with municipalities and regional districts to strengthen successful local waste reduction and recycling systems. We further direct the clerk of this board of aldermen to spread a copy of this Resolution across the minutes of these proceedings and to prepare a commemorative copy of this resolution to the end that it may be presented by the sponsor.
