Urging Ameren Missouri to Initiate a Moratorium on Utility Disconnections
Summary
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to urge Ameren Missouri to initiate a moratorium on utility disconnections for tornado-impacted residents until at least December 31, 2025, and to forgive utility debt accrued by households directly harmed by the May 16, 2025 storm.
