Honoring Uhuru Bakery & Cafe
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis hereby recognizes and congratulates Uhuru Bakery & Café on the occasion of its Grand Opening and commends the African People's Education and Defense Fund, its leadership, supporters, contractors, donors, neighbors, businesses, and community partners for their contributions to this important community institution; and further extends its best wishes to Uhuru Bakery & Café for continued success and recognizes its role in promoting food security, economic self-determination, cultural preservation, and community development in North St. Louis; and finally, that a copy of this resolution be presented to Uhuru Bakery & Café as a sincere expression of the Board of Aldermen's congratulations and appreciation on this historic occasion.
