Urging Contractors to Comply with City M/WBE and Executive Order Number 91

Resolution

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis, that this body calls upon all general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and private-sector partners engaged in City projects or projects receiving City incentives to: honor existing MWBE participation commitments made prior to or during the pause in program administration; comply with Executive Order 91 by maintaining and reporting participation consistent with established goals; Refrain from removing or excluding minority- and women-owned contractors from ongoing or upcoming projects solely due to the pause in program administration; and affirm their commitment to advancing equity, inclusion, and opportunity in the City of St. Louis.
