April Ford Griffin

April Ford Griffin has forged a distinguished professional career that has been focused on improving the lives of children, families, senior citizens and in addressing the negative conditions of blighted, disinvested neighborhoods. In 2013 Ms. Ford Griffin was appointed the Executive Director of the Affordable Housing Commission (AHC). Her responsibilities include supervision of the implementation of the loan program, grant and other programs approved by the AHC and coordinating such efforts with other City and private agencies. Plans, organizes, assigns and directs the work activities of the staff to realize the Commissions work goals and to ensure the consistent application of the department and technical policies, procedures and guidelines.
