PRO Housing NOFA ($3.25 million) – Funded through the federal Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) program, this initiative will provide resources for the rehabilitation of city-owned residential properties in the Dr. Martin Luther King Drive Demonstration Area. The goal is to increase the supply of affordable housing, stabilize neighborhoods, and address blight.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, through a competitive application process, awarded the City of St. Louis a Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant. PRO Housing grants empower communities that are actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing and seek to increase housing production and lower housing costs over the long term. CDA administers this program for the City in an effort to expand the supply of quality affordable housing and to stabilize City neighborhoods through the remediation of blighted areas.
