The City of St. Louis Department of Health is inviting residents and other St. Louis area public health stakeholders to a virtual Town Hall on public health June 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mayor Jones will be providing opening remarks.

During the event there will be an update on the state of COVID-19 in the City that will include what our “new normal” looks like as we move forward. There will also be a report on current initiatives within the Department of Health. The majority of the time during the Town Hall will be used to address questions and concerns from attendees.

“Community engagement is a critical element of health equity and the Department of Health will be using the Town Hall as a two way communication tool to try to reach all segments of the public,” says Dr. Mati Hlatshwayo Davis, Director of Health for the City of St. Louis. “We want them to hear directly from the Department and we also want to provide our undivided attention as we hear from them.”

To register for the event visit stl-publichealth-townhall.eventbrite.com. The Town Hall is free and open to the public, but registration is required to obtain the link to the event. Questions can also be submitted in advance on the registration site.
