Empowering youth with conflict resolution skills to break the cycle of violence.

Program Overview

The Alternatives to Violence (ATV) program, operated by the 22nd Judicial Court’s Juvenile Division, educates youth on the effects and consequences of violence. This preventative initiative empowers young people to resist negative peer pressure and develop conflict resolution skills, reducing the likelihood of gun violence as a means of problem-solving.

The program is funded by Prop S for 2025.

Program Eligibility

The program is for youth who are residents of the City of St. Louis from ages 12-18 that are ordered by the court to attend the program.
