Beyond School

Empowering at-risk students with skills, support, and opportunities for success in high school and beyond.

Program Overview

The Beyond School program, operated by Mission St. Louis, equips at-risk students with the social, emotional, and academic skills needed for success in high school and beyond. Partnering with four charter schools in St. Louis, the program helps students develop academic plans, provides tutoring, and connects them with success coaches who support prosocial behaviors, conflict resolution, and self-regulation. Students also engage in diverse activities such as art, coding, media production, college and career exploration, music, yoga, robotics, and engineering.

The program is funded by Prop S for 2025.

The program is operated by Mission St. Louis: https://www.missionstl.org
