SLATE Announces R.J. Corman Railroad Group Job Fair

R.J. Corman Derailment is hiring quality personnel experienced at working as a Heavy Equipment Operators/Laborers in the St. Louis area.

The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) Missouri Career Center (MCC) will conduct a Job Fair for individuals interested in employment opportunities at R.J. Corman Railroad Group. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at SLATE, 1520 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103, in partnership with R.J. Corman Railroad Group.

Privately held, R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC has been a trusted source of support for the railroad industry since 1973. Today, the company operates several short-track railroad lines and rail distribution centers, provides derailment services, equipment rental, dinner trains and aircraft maintenance centers.

R.J. Corman Derailment is currently hiring quality personnel experienced at working as a Heavy Equipment Operators/Laborers in the St. Louis area. Class A-CDL license is preferred but not required; previous Track Hoe experience is also preferred. The company offers excellent overtime potential with 24/7 on-call availability. Candidates must be within a 40 minute drive of 8136 Bunkum Rd., Caseyville, IL, 62232 in order to effectively respond to customer emergencies.

The company requests that candidates apply online prior to attending the Job Fair. At the Job Fair, participants should bring their resume and wear business casual attire. Those not registered with the Missouri Career Centers will be asked to register onsite from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. To register, attendees should bring a resume and at least one of the following forms of I.D.:

  • Driver's License or State I.D.;
  • Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate or Hospital Record of Birth;
  • U.S. Passport
