ST. LOUIS, MO — The City of St. Louis, in partnership with SLATE Missouri Job Center, will host a hiring event on Friday, March 6, to fill Limited-Term Utility Worker positions with the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry. The City’s Recreation Division will also be hiring for seasonal roles, including lifeguards and recreation assistants, in preparation for the busy spring and summer months.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the SLATE office, 1520 Market Street, 1st Floor Conference Room, in downtown St. Louis.

This hiring event is focused primarily on seasonal employment opportunities that support park maintenance, forestry services, and recreational programming across the city. These positions offer hands-on outdoor work and an opportunity to contribute to maintaining and enhancing St. Louis’ public spaces during peak activity months.

Screening interviews will be conducted on site. Applicants should bring a state-issued ID or driver’s license, and a résumé if available.
