City of St. Louis Workforce Development Board (SLWDB) Local Plan Modification Public Notice

SLWDB invites public review and comment on proposed modifications to its WIOA Local Plan 2024-2027. Comments are due by 5:00 p.m. on April 14, 2026.

The City of St. Louis Workforce Development Board (SLWDB) is proposing modifications to its Local Plan 2024-2027 under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The proposed updates include the incorporation of Mayor Spencer’s economic priorities, strategies addressing the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workforce, and highlights related to ongoing tornado recovery efforts. The proposed modification is available for public review and comment for a period of 15 calendar days, beginning March 23, 2026. Comments may be submitted to SLATE at info@stlworks.com and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 14, 2026.
