SLATE Missouri Job Center collaborates with regional partners and local organizations to provide educational, job training, and employment services to youth, ages 16 to 24, that are out-of-school or dropped out of school.

Available Out-of-School Youth Services

Education:

  • GED Assistance
  • Basic Skills Remediation
  • Financial Literacy Training
  • Post-Secondary Education Preparation
  • Tutoring

Career Planning:

  • Career Exploration
  • Career Guidance
  • Employability Skills Training
  • Job Shadowing
  • Referral to WIOA funded services

Paid Work Experience:

  • Internships
  • Job Placement
  • Follow up
  • Support Services

Who Is Eligible?

  • You must be 16-24 years old
  • Live in St. Louis City
  • Not enrolled or attending any school
