Read below to learn more about our graphic design process...

Research Comes First

Most design projects begin with a blank sheet of paper or an empty computer screen. Our graphic designers become investigators and researchers. They seek out information from various sources. It also requires staying connected to the world and paying attention to visual and multimedia communication trends and technology.

Conceptualizing

Some graphic designers visualize a concept in their heads before they put a pencil to paper or turn on their computers.  Most designers would say this exploratory part of the process is by far the most exciting.  Computers have greatly enhanced the designer's ability to produce concept work.  Using graphics programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign helps our designers develop high-quality concepts quickly and effectively.

Composition and Design

Whether creating a logo or designing a brochure, graphic designers must know how to select and arrange visual elements---type and images---to not only please the eye, but to also "lead" the eye through the composition. Our designers do not just "plop" things on a page. Rather, every element has a reason for being and a purpose for placement.  Our designers utilize their skills in areas such as typography, color theory, composition and design as well as in computer graphics programs.

Presentation

The number one goal of both Multigraph and its designers is to deliver quality representations of their concepts to you, the customer. The presentation stage of the graphic design process usually involves physically presenting the work to a client and explaining the logic behind the art.

Revision and Final Execution

Your input is important!  We welcome your comments and suggestions as we move your project toward its final phase.  An important step in our graphic design process is to submit a sample document proof to you for review, revisions, etc.  Generally, no job is printed until the proof has been signed and returned to Multigraph. Once all changes have been finalized and approved, we will take steps necessary to turn your project in to a finished, workable product.
