The Business Recovery Center facilitates getting help from the U.S. Small Business Administration for business impacted by the May 16, 2025 tornado. The center closed October 23, 2025.
Business Recovery Center Closure Notice
The Business Recovery Center is closed as of October 23, 2025.
Residents, businesses and nonprofits may still submit applications online at SBA.gov/disaster.
Although the deadline to submit physical loan applications due to the May severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding has passed, there is a 60-day grace period when the SBA will accept applications. The grace period ended on October 25, 2025.
March 9, 2026 is the deadline to return economic injury applications.
Applicants may call the SBA Customer Service Center with questions regarding their application at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) opened an SBA Business Recovery Center (BRC) in St. Louis to assist small businesses, private nonprofit (PNP) organizations and residents affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding occurring May 16.
Beginning Thursday, June 12, SBA customer service representatives were on hand at the Business Recovery Center in St. Louis to answer questions and assist with the disaster loan application process.
