The Quinn Family Foundation Rock 'n' Roll St. Louis Marathon & 1/2 Marathon to benefit Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK) will return for the third year on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.  As in previous years, live bands and cheerleaders will entertain participants along every mile of the scenic course, which will start and finish across from City Hall and travel past many of the City's historic landmarks.  The race will conclude with a finish line festival and headliner concert.

New this year will be the 3.75-mile "Mini Marathon" which will offer all of the Rock 'n' Roll excitement and thrills of the full and 1/2 marathons.  All runners will step off at 7 a.m. from Tucker and Market, follow their selected route and then cross the finish line at 15th and Chestnut.  The Mini Marathon will be a non-timed fun run and registration will be limited.  Participants must be at least 8 years old.  Mini Marathon registration is $40 until Aug. 31.  To sign up and to learn about all the events scheduled for race weekend, visit runrocknroll.competitor.com/st-louis.
