Neighborhood Workshop
I want to begin this week's Spotlight by passing along some information from the Community Partnership Project's Neighborhood Leadership Academy at the School of Professional & Continuing Studies at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The Funding Your Neighborhood Project workshop on Saturday, Feb. 8 will help participants become skilled in the art of persuasive writing as a tool for making a funding request successful. It will provide attendees with real-world examples and take-aways that will help get a neighborhood project started or expand an existing one. For more information or to register, call (314) 516-5994 or visit the pcs.umsl.edu/cpp web site.
