Established in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists, May is National Bike Month. Celebrated across the U.S. and Canada, this is the perfect time to enjoy great weather and the many benefits of bicycling.

The highlight of Bike Month is National Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 17. Pedal to work and encourage friends and co-workers to give biking a try. Trailnet staff and volunteers count all riders that day. Come by a refueling station and be counted helping us top 500 again this year!

Refueling stations will be open from 6:30 – 9:30 a.m. and will provide free coffee and baked goods to all cyclists. In addition to the Trailnet-sponsored stations at the Missouri History MuseumKaldi&#’;sDeMun, and Missouri Botanical Garden — different area businesses will be offering refueling stops as well.
