Overview
Type: Announcement
Description
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the City of St. Louis through Tuesday, June 9, at 7:00 AM.
Flash flooding from excessive rainfall remains possible.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Additional showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall will be possible, which could lead to flash flooding, especially if they occur over saturated soils.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
