Board Bill Number 130 Votes In Session 2022-2023
Rams Relocation Lawsuit
Board Bill
The bill appropriates $30 million in settlement funds from the Rams relocation lawsuit to continue the expansion and improvement of the Cervantes Convention Center project, already under construction. The Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority, the City and St. Louis County have agreed that $30 million in settlement funds will be used for that project. COVID-related supply chain issues as well as delays in commencing construction of the project have caused bids for the construction of the project to exceed the originally estimated costs.
