In Support Of A Fair And Mutually Agreeable Election Process For Workers Seeking To Organize With SEIU Healthcare Missouri At Places For People
Summary
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Honorable Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that the Board of Aldermen supports Places for People workers decision to contemplate forming a union and respectfully request a fair election process to determine representation. The Board urges Places for People Leadership to meet with workers and their chosen representative SEIU Healthcare Missouri to negotiate a fair election process that prevents intimidation and retaliation by either party and creates a legitimate and transparent process by which workers may decide whether to unionize.
