Christine Ingrassia

Director of Operations

Christine (she/her/hers) grew up in St. Louis where she served as the Alderwoman of the 6th Ward from 2013–2023.

An advocate for working families and LGBTQIA rights, Christine introduced and successfully passed legislation addressing pay inequity and banning conversion therapy. Most recently, she sponsored legislation that would establish a right to counsel for tenants facing eviction.

Before holding public office, Christine earned a degree in Legal Studies from Webster University and worked in the non-profit sector.

As the President's Director of Operations, Christine is responsible for building operational efficiency, working with the Clerk’s office to prepare the Board’s weekly agenda and keeping track of active legislation. Additionally, she represents the President on various selection committees and ensures that transparency and equity are prioritized when awarding government contracts.
