Sam Wobbe

Sam (he/him) serves as the Secretary of Communications and Public Engagement for the President of the Board of Aldermen. In this role, he serves as the liaison between President Green and the community, manages the office’s social media, and produces the office Newsletter.

Born and raised in South St. Louis City, Sam received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Webster University and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University’s Brown School. During his time at the Brown School, he spent time with North Newstead Association and the St. Louis Midtown Redevelopment Corporation as a practicum student. Working with community-oriented non-profit organizations solidified his passion for public engagement, urban development, and local government.

Sam’s personal interests include ancient history, international politics, and urbanism. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, exploring St. Louis, and being emotionally invested in the success of the Blues, Cardinals, City SC, and Ferrari. When he’s not working, he’s probably spending time with his family, his friends, or his cat, Finley.
