Sharita Rogers serves as the Clerk of the Board of Aldermen for the City of St. Louis, where she brings over two decades of dedicated public service and deep institutional knowledge to the role. A lifelong resident of the City of St. Louis, Ms. Rogers has proudly served the City since 1999, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to her community and to transparent, effective governance.

Ms. Rogers earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lindenwood University in 2016, graduating cum laude. Her academic background supports her strong leadership, operational management, and administrative expertise.

In 2026, Ms. Rogers made history as the first African American female Clerk of the Board of Aldermen, marking a significant milestone in the City’s legislative leadership.

As Clerk, Ms. Rogers oversees the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Board of Aldermen. She is responsible for managing the legislative process, maintaining all official Board records, and serving as a trusted advisor on Board rules and parliamentary procedure during meetings. Her leadership ensures the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of legislative proceedings.

In recognition of her leadership and impact, Ms. Rogers was selected as one of 100 women honored as a 2023 Black Girls Who Rock Award recipient, celebrating her excellence, service, and influence in the community.

She is the proud resident of the 10th ward where she resides with her husband.
