Qualifications, provisions and procedures for individuals filing to run for Circuit Attorney

Qualifications to File

  • Resident of St. Louis for one year
  • Twenty-one years of age
  • Duly licensed to practice as an attorney at law in Missouri

Provisions for Nomination

To file for Circuit Attorney, the candidate must submit

  1. a receipt from the Treasurer’s Office confirming payment of the required filing fee
  2. a statement of tax clearance from the Collector of Revenue’s Office confirming that the candidate is not delinquent in the payment of city taxes and water and refuse bills.
