Three developments in The Ville, Greater Ville, Fox Park, Benton Park West, and Tower Grove East neighborhoods will be supported by Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding through the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) and City of St. Louis Community Development Administration (CDA) to expand affordable housing and strengthen neighborhoods.

The City of St. Louis Community Development Administration (CDA), in partnership with the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC), announced new funding awards on September 5, 2025, that will expand access to affordable housing and strengthen neighborhoods across the city.

The 2025 CDA Affordable Housing Production awards to the LIHTC-funded or applying projects reflect the City’s ongoing commitment to equitable, mixed-income communities — kick-starting new development in The Ville and Greater Ville and preserving historic housing in three South City neighborhoods. Together with MHDC, CDA has awarded a total of $2.6 million to three developments representing more than 130 new or preserved homes for St. Louis residents.

“CDA is proud to work with MHDC and our nonprofit community development corporation and private development partners to bring these projects to life,” said Nahuel Fefer, Executive Director of CDA. “These awards build momentum for neighborhood revitalization and demonstrate our commitment to ensuring that every dollar invested delivers real results for St. Louis residents.”
