City of St. Louis Opens STLRecovers Outreach Center and Launches Private Property Assistance Application
The STLRecovers Outreach Center will enhance the City’s ability to connect residents affected by the May 16 tornado directly to City services.
Today, Mayor Cara Spencer announced the opening of the STLRecovers Outreach Center, which will enhance the City’s ability to connect residents affected by the May 16 tornado directly to services offered by the City, including the newly launched Private Property Assistance application.
The STLRecovers Outreach Center is located at the Urban League Women’s Business Center at 4401 Natural Bridge Ave., previously a FEMA disaster recovery center site.
The Outreach Center offers in-person support to connect residents with available programs and set up rights-of-entry, site assessments and inspections needed for demolition, debris removal, home stabilization or home repair.
“We continue to grow our programs for demolition, debris removal, stabilization and repair services in our impacted communities. Making it easy for St. Louisans to take advantage of these resources is key to our recovery,” said Mayor Spencer. “I’m grateful that the Urban League has once again provided us with a great space in one of the hardest-hit neighborhoods so that more residents in need of these services have access.”
Hours of operation for the Outreach Center are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The City of St. Louis is also opening the new STLRecovers Call Center, which offers the same services and has the same hours as the Outreach Center. To reach the STLRecovers Call Center, call 833-925-0977.
Impacted residents can also apply online to the Private Property Assistance Program at app.stlrecovers.com. For more information and to view frequently asked questions, visit app.stlrecovers.com/faq.
