Grace Kyung

Grace Kyung (she/her) is the Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager for Mayor Tishaura O. Jones. She has worked in the subject areas of public health, healthy communities, built environment, transportation planning, housing, and planning as a systems thinker to dismantle the root causes of inequities to improve the quality of life for individuals. She was previously the Campaign Director for the COVID-19 Regional Response Team where she oversaw campaigns focused on medical and behavioral health supports for unhoused neighbors, eviction prevention and tenants rights, PPE distribution, and vaccine education. She was also a Project Manager at Urban Strategies, Inc. to work in East St. Louis, IL at Samuel Gompers Homes and a Special Projects Director at Trailnet.

Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, Concentration in Health Education and Health Administration, Master of Public Health in Kinesiology and Community Health, Concentration in Health Behavior and Promotion, and a Master of Urban Planning from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Grace is an avid seeker of new fries, can be found walking her dog around parks, and loves to ride her bicycle.
