The St. Louis City Municipal Court provides access to a searchable database to look up your current citation(s) and court date(s).
Municipal Court is migrating to a new system in 2024. Choose your case filing date to view instructions.

Instructions
Confirm that you have the information needed for your preferred search method. Select your search method from the box in the upper part of the search page.
Search by Name
To search by Name, you will need your last name, your first name and your year of birth. (Do not enter your full date of birth).
Complete all required fields. (All fields with a “*” next to them).
Select the court from the drop down menu. Select “St. Louis City Municipal Court” or “ALL participating muni courts."
Check “I am not a robot.”
Click “Search.”
Search by Case Number
To search by case/ticket number, you will need the case number shown on your citation. For traffic tickets, the number will be at the upper right hand corner of the citation.
Complete all required fields. (All fields with a “*” next to them).
Select the court from the drop down menu. Select “St. Louis City Municipal Court.”
Check “I am not a robot.”
Click “Search.”
The information provided is based on current court records.

What to Expect
You will receive a list of cases that match your search criteria, along with the current court date, and can confirm whether your citation is in our system.
If you cannot find your case/citation, please be aware there is a processing time after a citation is issued before it will appear in our system.

If your citation was filed in court on or after January 2, 2024, you may look up your case(s) on Missouri Case.net.
To find your case, use the Begin Online button below. Chrome and Edge are preferred.
Search by Case Number
- select Case Number Search
- Select City of St. Louis – 22nd Judicial Circuit from the “Search for cases in” drop down menu
- Enter your case number. For traffic citations, this will be the number on the upper right hand corner of your citation.
- Click on Find. Your case should display in the search result.
Search by Name
- Select “Litigant Name Search”
- In the “Search for cases in” drop down, select “City of St. Louis – 22nd Judicial Circuit"
- Enter your Last and First Name in the fields provided. You may also narrow your search by entering your Date of Birth in MM/DD/YYYY format.
- You may further narrow your search by selecting St. Louis City Municipal from the Location drop down menu and Traffic/Municipal from the Case Type drop down menu.
- Then click on the Find button.
- You may then select your Name from the Name Search Result.
- You may need to click on Get Related Cases in the column on the right side of the Name Search Result.
- You may then select your case or cases from the Name Search Result.

What to Expect
You will receive a list of cases that match your search criteria, along with current case information, and can confirm that your citation is in the CaseNet system.
If you cannot find your case/citation, please be aware there is a processing time after a citation is issued before it will appear in CaseNet. Wait a few days and check again.
