About
Built in 1967 on the southwest corner of Benton Park, the Cherokee Recreation Center features a gymnasium, boxing and workout room as well as a craft room and an indoor swimming pool. Benton Park also has a playground, lake and two tennis courts.

Programs
Water aerobics can provide you with cardiovascular benefits as well as strength-resistance training that is gentle on your joints. Aerobic exercises, stretches, and other movements are more fluid and less strained in the water, so you can get the benefits of a strenuous workout without stressing or injuring your body.
