About
Built in 1967 on the southwest corner of Benton Park, the Cherokee Recreation Center features a gymnasium, boxing and workout room as well as a craft room and an indoor swimming pool.
Use of the center is free, boxing is a popular evening activity Monday through Friday.
Benton Park also has a playground, lake and two tennis courts.

Programs
Ape fit kingdoms offers health seekers soultions in all parts of their fitness journey. They can discover and explore new fitness techniques, work with great wellness coaches individually or in a group. All are welcome and all will be motivated both by staff and other participants.
