The HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Records Management team serves as the central hub for the City’s workforce data. We manage the full lifecycle of employee records—from the initial hire through retirement—ensuring every personnel action is processed accurately, securely, and in compliance with Civil Service Rules.
Core Responsibilities
- Personnel Transaction Processing: We manage the critical data behind every career milestone, including appointments, promotions, salary adjustments, and transfers.
- Payroll & Systems Support: Our team ensures the seamless flow of data between HR and Payroll to guarantee accurate compensation for the City’s dedicated workforce.
- Official Records Retention: We maintain the City’s centralized personnel files, protecting the privacy and history of our employees through secure digital and physical archiving.
- Compliance & Reporting: We provide the data-driven insights and reporting necessary for city leadership to make informed workforce decisions.
